While many accreditations and approvals, including Regulation 4, are standard in our industry, it’s worth learning more about ours, not least because some could help your business achieve its ESG and sustainability goals.
Our big 3 for water quality
WRAs
The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) is a conformance mark that demonstrates an item complies with the high standards set out by the 1999 UK water regulations. The WRAS logo certifies our drinking water systems are safe to use in commercial and residential settings, giving you peace of mind with every pour.
Our big 3 for water quality
NSF
Our 0.2 micron MicroPurity filter has been tested and approved according to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53, evaluating the safety and structural integrity of point-of-use/point-of-entry (POU/POE) drinking water filtration systems, certifying the health and safety of drinking water.
• Standard 42 refers to aesthetic (taste and odour, chlorine, particulate) claims
• Standard 53 refers to specific health-related contaminants that may be present in drinking water, such as microbiological (including filterable cysts) or chemicals (including pesticides and lead)

KIWA
Our Tudor range meets the requirements for the Kiwa UK Regulation 4 Product Approval Scheme (KUKreg4), a standard that demonstrates compliance with the UK Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
Through these three independent certification testing bodies, we’ve demonstrated that our products meet Regulation 4 compliance, meaning you can specify Zip with confidence.

EcoVadis – Silver Medal
Auditing a range of key areas within the business, from sustainable procurement to labour and human rights, EcoVadis has awarded Zip Water UK a silver medal, ranking us in the top 8% of all companies assessed.
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
An ISO-standardised tool that contains quality-assured and comparable information regarding the environmental performance of products, namely HydroTap.
BREEAM
The world’s oldest formal method of assessing and certifying the sustainability of buildings. Specifying our drinking water systems can contribute towards achieving BREEAM points in both the Energy and Health and Wellbeing sections.
The WELL Building Standard®
A performance-based system for measuring and certifying how the built environment impacts human health. Our market-leading filtration systems help you towards achieving this important standard.
RoHS
All materials used in HydroTap’s manufacture comply with the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2011/65/EC.
